Warranty Policy

Warranty Policy

The following guidelines apply to products distributed by C50 Supply, unless otherwise specified by the individual manufacturer’s warranty policy.

C50 Supply is committed to making the warranty process as straightforward and efficient as possible for our authorized dealers. Not all defective products will need to be returned. C50 Supply reserves the right to request the return of any product for inspection or further evaluation. When a return is required, shipping instructions will be provided.

Obtaining a Warranty Authorization

To submit a warranty claim, please contact C50 Supply at info@c50supply.ca with the required information and supporting photographs.

Please provide the following information where applicable:

  • Dealer/store name

  • Contact name

  • Contact email and phone number

  • Product brand

  • Item number, SKU, or product model

  • Product size, colour, or other relevant specifications

  • Serial number, if applicable

  • Description of the defect or warranty issue

  • Date the issue was first identified

Please also provide clear photographs showing:

  • The complete product

  • The product label, serial number, or other identifying information, if applicable

  • The defect or area of concern

  • Additional angles where necessary to clearly demonstrate the issue

When taking photographs, please ensure the problem area is clearly visible and identifiable. Multiple angles may be requested where necessary to properly assess the claim.

For consumer warranty claims, proof of purchase is required. This may be submitted as a scan, PDF, or clear photograph of the original sales receipt or invoice. Handwritten receipts may not be accepted.

Proof of purchase should include:

  • Dealer/store name

  • Purchase date

  • Description of the product purchased

  • Product model, size, or other identifying information where applicable

  • Serial number, where applicable

  • Amount paid

Once all required information has been received, C50 Supply will evaluate the claim and determine whether additional information or return of the product is required.

Warranty Approval and Resolution

Warranty coverage is subject to the terms and conditions established by the manufacturer of the applicable product.

C50 Supply may approve a warranty claim directly or, where required, submit the claim to the manufacturer for review and authorization.

Approved warranty claims may be resolved through one or more of the following methods, at the discretion of C50 Supply and/or the manufacturer:

  • Replacement of the defective product

  • Replacement of the defective component

  • Repair, where applicable

  • Dealer account credit

  • Replacement with a comparable product where the original product is no longer available

Where a dealer credit is issued, the credit will generally be based on the dealer's purchase price for the affected product.

If a replacement product is requested, this should be indicated when the warranty claim is initially submitted. Replacement products are subject to availability. Where an identical replacement is unavailable, C50 Supply reserves the right to provide or offer a reasonably comparable product.

Approval of a warranty claim does not automatically include reimbursement for labour, installation, removal, shipping, or other related expenses unless specifically authorized by C50 Supply or covered under the manufacturer's warranty.

Return Authorization

Do not return products to C50 Supply without prior authorization.

If C50 Supply determines that a product must be returned for inspection, repair, replacement, or warranty evaluation, a Return Authorization (RA) number and shipping instructions will be provided.

Unauthorized returns may be refused or returned to the dealer at the dealer's expense.

The RA number must be clearly marked on the outside of the shipping package.

Only products specifically authorized under the RA should be included in the shipment.

Shipping Instructions

Products being returned to C50 Supply must be packaged appropriately to prevent damage during transportation.

Whenever possible:

  • Use the product's original packaging.

  • Protect the product with appropriate packing material.

  • Secure loose components to prevent movement during transit.

  • Ensure the shipping carton is appropriate for the product's size and weight.

  • Clearly mark the RA number on the outside of the package.

Improper packaging that results in damage to the product may affect or void the warranty claim.

If C50 Supply provides a prepaid return shipping label, the dealer must follow the shipping instructions provided with the authorization.

C50 Supply is not responsible for damage caused by inadequate packaging or damage occurring during transportation to C50 Supply, except where otherwise required by law.

Warranty Evaluation

Once a returned product is received, C50 Supply will inspect and document the product and assess the reported issue.

Some claims may require consultation with or authorization from the product manufacturer. As a result, processing times may vary depending on the nature of the claim and the manufacturer's warranty procedures.

If the claim is approved, C50 Supply will advise the dealer of the resolution and arrange the applicable credit, replacement, repair, or other remedy.

If the claim is declined, C50 Supply will provide the dealer with the reason for the decision where reasonably possible.

Items Not Covered by Warranty

Unless otherwise specified by the applicable manufacturer's warranty, warranty coverage generally does not apply to:

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Cosmetic damage that does not affect product function

  • Damage caused by accident, impact, abuse, neglect, or misuse

  • Improper installation or assembly

  • Improper maintenance

  • Unauthorized modifications or repairs

  • Use of the product outside its intended purpose

  • Damage caused by incompatible components or accessories

  • Damage resulting from failure to follow manufacturer instructions

  • Damage occurring during transportation after delivery

  • Products purchased from an unauthorized retailer or source, where prohibited by the manufacturer's warranty

  • Products for which acceptable proof of purchase cannot be provided

Warranty eligibility and coverage are ultimately subject to the warranty terms established by the applicable manufacturer.

Consumer Warranty Claims

C50 Supply is a wholesale distributor and generally processes warranty claims through its authorized dealer network.

Consumers should first contact the authorized dealer from whom the product was purchased. The dealer can then submit the warranty claim to C50 Supply where applicable.

C50 Supply may communicate directly with a consumer where necessary to assist with a claim, but this does not replace the dealer's role as the original retailer unless otherwise authorized.

Freight Damage

Warranty coverage should not be used to address products damaged during shipping.

Dealers should inspect shipments upon arrival whenever reasonably possible. If a shipment or package arrives visibly damaged, the damage should be documented immediately and reported to the carrier and C50 Supply.

If possible, shipments with significant visible damage should be refused or signed for as damaged.

Photographs of the shipping carton, shipping label, packaging materials, and damaged product should be retained to support any freight claim.

Please contact C50 Supply as soon as possible after discovering shipping damage so that we can assist with the appropriate next steps.

Additional Terms

C50 Supply acts as a distributor for multiple manufacturers and brands. Warranty periods, exclusions, remedies, and requirements may therefore vary by product and manufacturer.

Nothing in this policy is intended to replace or expand the written warranty provided by the manufacturer. Where there is a conflict between this policy and the applicable manufacturer's warranty terms, the manufacturer's warranty terms will govern, subject to applicable Canadian law.

C50 Supply reserves the right to update its warranty procedures from time to time to reflect changes in manufacturer requirements, shipping procedures, or business operations.
